• Mechanical Engineer

Role Description

This is a contract role for a Mechanical Engineer at our Client in Data Center Service. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Identifying deficiencies in mechanical processes and developing improvements
• Designing and developing prototypes
• Analysing and testing prototypes and each revision of a device
• Supervising the development of computer-aided design (CAD) project drawings from junior team members
• Developing, initiating and managing all phases of projects
• Preparing documentation of critical analysis and providing suggestions for correcting errors
• Collaborating with Project Managers for proper allocation and tracking of resources

This is an on-site role located in Batam.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field from a college or university
• Have experience as Mechanical Engineer min. 3 years in Data Center Service is a plus
• Mechanical Engineering and Machine Design skills
• Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software
• Thorough knowledge of construction activities as they relate to engineering disciplines, cost and scheduling, and contract administration.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
