About the Program
The Business Management Trainee Program is designed as a career development pathway for individuals who want to build their skills and grow with Kitar. The journey starts with a 6-month paid internship, allowing you to learn how our business works, gain exposure to different aspects of day-to-day operations, and adapt to a new working culture, especially in a fast-paced company. Individuals who demonstrate good performance, attitude, and alignment with Kitar’s culture, will be offered a full time permanent role. As Kitar continues to grow, so do our teams, stores, and business areas. Business MT who shows strong performance, ownership, and readiness to take on greater responsibilities, will be offered opportunity to take on bigger responsibilities and continue journey as Business Manager roles across different areas of the business.
Career Journey
6-Month Paid Internship → Full-Time → Manager
Main Responsibilities
- Represent Kitar and help customers understand our brand and services.
- Assist in providing mobile phone recycling consultations and basic quality checks.
- Support door-to-door recycling services alongside senior team members.
- Help respond to customer service and after-sales inquiries.
- Contribute to maintaining positive customer relationships through friendly and professional engagement.
Work Environment
- Work in Kitar stores.
- For door-to-door services, you will need to visit the customer’s preferred location (e.g. residential address, office, etc.).
- Required to wear Kitar uniforms.
- Equipped with professional quality inspection tools.
- Work in a dynamic and fast-growing environment alongside different teams.
Requirements
- Final-year student currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or fresh graduate with a maximum of 1 year of experience.
- Minimum GPA (IPK) of 3.20.
- Available for a full-time 6-month paid internship.
- Proficient in verbal and written English.
- Passionate about mobile phone gadgets and the industry.
- Able to remain calm, professional, and customer-focused in a busy environment.
- Strong willingness to learn, take ownership, and grow in a fast-paced environment.
