Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Loading, unloading, moving and handling of pipes and miscellaneous oilfield equipment.
• Carry out all lifting activities in accordance with the lifting plan.
• Inspect and maintain tools or lifting equipment required for the job, carry out proper housekeeping and follow safety procedures and work instructions at OSI facility.
• Assist in Store operation such as simple packing, strapping, shrink wrapping or inventory stock check, when required
• Shift and stow pipes safely in multiple tiers while working at height.
• Undergo overhead crane training, to assist in moving and handing of pipes and completed joints.
• Carry out internal and external pipe grinding on connector ends and pipe pitting area.
• Clean internal pipes and connector ends by air blow, power brush or other means.
• Perform basics of brush / roller painting, which includes thinning of paint. Apply painting techniques, understand storage requirements, care for brushers / rollers and observe overall safety.
• Apply grease in a proper manner, paying attention to the application methods, safe handling and proper storage.
• Sign off route sheets upon completion of each operation.
• Install anti-rotation keys and assist in lock ring installation, when required.
• Use stenciling machine for templates and marking, which includes painting of color bands, when required.
• Use of O / D gauges and pipe drifts, when required.

Fit connector protectors and O rings, when required.

• Accept and perform any additional work related instructions / activities, to the best of his ability, as determined by the department Supervisor / Manager.
• Academic Qualification

Formal Education & Certification

• Basic knowledge of Store / Logistics operation or activities would be advantageous, full training will be provided.
• Valid Apply Workplace Safety and Health in Metalwork and Perform Rigger and Signalman certificates will be advantageous.
• MOM Accredited Training Providers or WSQ approved Training Organizations)
• Valid Forklift License will be advantageous
• MOM Accredited Training Providers or WSQ approved Training Organizations)
• possess a high school diploma or equivalent and be certified as a forklift
• Knowledge & Experience
• Pro-active and able to perform shift rotation.
• Good interpersonal skills, able to work independently and as a team.
• Ability to read and speak basic English will be a bonus.
