As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing daily sales operations across all channels (GT/MT) within your coverage area, with the primary goal of achieving and increasing sales targets. You will also monitor and motivate your sales team members. Developing effective sales strategies to meet company targets and maximize product distribution through complex channels will be key, along with the ability to analyze and resolve issues within these distribution channels. You’ll build and maintain strong relationships with trade leaders and distributors to positively impact the company’s image and business goals. Collaboration with distributors in your coverage area for sales and distribution planning and implementation is essential. Furthermore, you will analyze regional and sales performance data to identify areas for improvement, and stay attuned to changing customer needs and market trends, understanding their impact on current and future business to proactively secure long-term performance. Close work with trade marketing is required to ensure strategic and tactical consistency, along with promotion effectiveness and efficiency. Setting clear performance standards and expectations for ASMs and distributors based on business strategy and goals is also part of the role.
The ideal candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in any field and have at least 15 years of working experience in FMCG, including 4 years as a Senior Sales Manager specifically for the Central Java region. Applicants must be willing to travel and have a deep understanding of operational sales and distribution across all channels, including GT, MT, and Horeca. Strong communication, data analysis, and reporting skills are necessary, as is the ability to manage a large team. You should be a high achiever and target-oriented.
