This role is a full-time, on-site position responsible for monitoring and advising on international regulatory requirements impacting agrochemical technologies, with a particular emphasis on digital systems, data flows, and cross-border operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessing compliance risks associated with technology usage.
- Reviewing contracts and technical documentation to ensure adherence to relevant regulations.
- Coordinating with internal teams to implement compliant processes.
- Collaborating with legal, IT, operations, and quality assurance stakeholders to align technology solutions, data management practices, and cross-border transactions with global standards and local requirements.
- Preparing compliance reports and supporting audits.
- Training staff on regulatory updates.
- Recommending improvements to policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in regulatory or compliance advisory work, preferably related to technology, data protection, or cross-border transactions.
- Strong understanding of international regulations affecting chemical or agrochemical industries, including environmental, safety, and trade compliance frameworks.
- Ability to analyze technical documents, contracts, and policies and translate regulatory requirements into clear operational guidance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Chemical Engineering, Regulatory Affairs, Information Systems, or a related field; advanced qualifications or certifications in compliance or risk management are an advantage.
- Proficiency in using digital tools for documentation, reporting, and data analysis; familiarity with compliance management or governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) systems is beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in agrochemicals, industrial chemicals, or a related sector is an advantage, along with knowledge of research and quality assurance processes.
