Description

As the Country General Manager, your responsibilities will encompass the oversight of the company’s operations and strategic initiatives. This entails direct involvement in financial, legal, and human resources matters. The ideal candidate will possess practical expertise in these aforementioned areas.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations
• Design strategy and set goals for growth
• Maintain budgets and optimize expenses
• Set policies and processes
• Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally
• Oversee recruitment and training of new employees
• Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
• Direct the employee assessment process
• Prepare regular reports for upper management
• Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations
• Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)

Qualifications

• BSc/BA in Business or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus
• Must be a Batam resident
• Proven experience as a General Manager, Country Manager, or similar executive role
• Proficiency in strategic planning and financial budgeting.
• Understanding of business processes and functions (including finance, human resources, procurement, operations, etc.)
• Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical ability
