PT PHC Indonesia, a manufacturer of medical devices and components such as Electronic Equipment (Blood Glucose Meter, Bio Medical Freezer, Bio Medical Incubator and Medical Equipment), and also providing EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Service) for Medical Devices, Automotive and others, is currently seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer.
Job Description
- Support the DE team in New Project Development, including design concepts, prototyping, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure designs are manufacturable using appropriate processes like machining, injection molding, and sheet metal fabrication.
- Conduct evaluation processes for products and parts.
- Prepare 2D drawings with detailed Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and procurement teams to ensure a smooth transition from design to manufacturing.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering; fresh graduates are welcome.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD and 2D drafting software (SolidWorks, CATIA) and Simulation Software analysis.
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles, materials (metal & plastics), and fabrication techniques.
- Knowledge of DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly) principles.
- Ability to manage multiple design tasks.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
